THE VAISHNAV SANGH OF MELBOURNE

Vallabhkul Acharya, Vaishnavacharya Shri Vrajeshkumr Maharajshri (Kadi – Amdavad) visited Australia in 1995 with Vahuji. Aapshri’s auspicious arrival and short stay in Melbourne was the beginning of Pushti Bhakti Activities in Melbourne. Aapshri’s Vachnamrut were attended by few Vaishnav Families. Aapshri gave Brahmasambadh Diksha to three Vaishnavs for the first time in Australia. The seeds of Pushti Bhakti Marg were sowed by Acharyashri.

After five years Vaishnavcharya Shri Dwarkeshlalji Mahodayshri (Kadi – Amdavad), second son of Shri Vrajeshkumar Maharajshri, visited Melbourne for the first time at a young age of 26 years. After spending time with Vaishnav Families, Aapshri realised the need to travel regularly to impart the teachings of Jagadguru Shri Vallabhacharya and Hindu Scriptures like Veda, Upnishad, Shrimad Bhagvat & Shrimad Bhagvad Gita. Pujya Vaishnavacharya Shri Dwarkeshlalji Mahodayshri (Kadi – Amdavad) has been travelling regularly to Australia since 2002 and has blessed the Hindu Community living in Australia from young to elderly.

In the early period, discourses were held at Vaishnav Families homes. With Aapshri’s blessings, inspiration and tireless efforts, The Vaishnav Sangh of Melbourne started organising Annual Functions and Discourses (Vachanamrut) at the Community Hall. Monthly Satsang Sabha and Utsav was started in Melbourne in 2006.
